Who We Are

At the IOWA Centers for Enterprise our mission is clear. We want to foster economic development within the state and beyond by sharing The University of Iowa's rich resources.

We know the University-with its 11 colleges, 1,700 faculty, and Myriad research endeavors-can be daunting to navigate. Now, with one phone call, IOWA Centers for Enterprise can direct you to world-renowned University experts in the health sciences, engineering, technology, research, and education, as well as services related to entrepreneurial training, facilities, business and workforce development, patent, copyright, trademark, licensing, and more.

Our center, now located in the University Capitol Centre in the heart of the University campus, is home to representatives from the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC), the UI Research Foundation (UIRF), the Small Business Development Center, and our college liaisons in medicine, engineering, and more. The UI BioVentures Center/Technology Innovation Center/UI Research Park is located on the UIRP.  Together, we comprise the IOWA Centers for Enterprise. And together we invite you to open the door to a University of possibilities.
